Diamond Physicians is pleased to announce the opening of our third location, led by Dr. Cynthia Stuart, in North Carrollton, Texas. Our new office joins our other two locations in Frisco and Dallas as a premier source of affordable, accessible, on-demand concierge healthcare.
Dr. Stuart, who has managed her own practice since 2005, joined our team after becoming disillusioned with the mandates surrounding the delivery of healthcare in the United States:
“I have slowly watched the industry become twisted and unethical through ever-changing rules and laws passed that ultimately prevent individuals from accessing the care they need,” says Dr. Stuart. “I find too many aspects of the available commercial health insurance policies and the coverage offered by the Affordable Care Act Marketplace inequitable. The policies are expensive and only increasing, promised stipends have been difficult to obtain or less than promised and deductibles are rising. Insurance companies have been slowly dictating the care we receive from our personal physicians by declining to pay for prescribed medications, inflating healthcare costs and creating a system that destroys the patient-physician relationship. Moreover, the current system fosters mistrust and minimizes direct access to physicians.”
These sentiments are echoing around the country, with more doctors changing fields, retiring early, or closing their practices due to many of the hardships surrounding primary care. With so many doctors burning out during the largest healthcare crisis our nation has ever seen, Diamond Physicians believes that now more than ever, direct primary care is the solution. It is our hope that our practice model can serve as an example to other practitioners and hopefully prevent them from leaving a career in medicine.
Our new location will provide greater access to quality, affordable healthcare in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Dr. Stuart looks forward to practicing in North Carrollton for many years to come.
