Diamond Physicians is very pleased to welcome board-certified pediatrician Dr. Elizabeth Thomas to our Dallas, TX team!
Experience and Dedication
If you’re looking for a pediatrician who will put your children’s well-being first, you need to look no further than Dr. Elizabeth Thomas.
Dr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lamar University and a medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
Since receiving her degree, she has worked as a pediatrician in Dallas for over eight years — that’s almost a decade of experience and dedication to the Dallas community. She has also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Texas A&M University.
Lifelong Calling
Dr. Thomas has known she would be a pediatrician since the age of 16, when she shadowed one who worked with an asthmatic child. She was inspired by this doctor’s dedication to their young patient, and by the realization that quality pediatric care could be crucial to a child’s overall well-being and quality of life.
But the instinct to care for the younger and more vulnerable goes back further than that. As the oldest of four children, Dr. Thomas developed these instincts very early, and one could say that becoming a pediatrician is the fulfillment of a lifelong calling.
Passionate and Knowledgeable
Dr. Thomas truly believes that effective pediatric medicine is a matter of focusing on the total well-being of a child.
Moreover, she knows that childhood experiences and decisions are absolutely crucial in terms of their developing into the adults they will become. Pediatric medicine can’t just be about the prevention and treatment of this particular problem at this particular time, but must also be about fostering healthy lifestyles with an eye toward a long and healthy future.
Dr. Thomas is committed to working closely with children and their families to help make this happen.
